Hydrant Flow Testing

Hydrant flow tests are often used to evaluate firewater supply for building compliance and for fire protection system designs. Hydrant flow tests are conducted to determine the flow rate and pressure through the underground water distribution system and indicates the available water supply in the water main. Flow tests are conducted as per NFPA 291 Recommended Practice for Water Flow Testing and Marking of Hydrants.
